Sand Dunes

Friday night, last week we went out to the sand dunes with the Poulsen Family. We only stayed for dinner because we had a lot of homework this last weekend, and wanted to get our garden planted. This is a shot of Western horizon just after sunset, it doesn't quite do it justice, but you get the idea.

Left to right: Jake, Lynda, and Desirae. I didn't get too many shots because I was out on four-wheelers a little bit with Lynda. Thanks Lynda, I had so much fun! Roger, thanks for switching me onto your four-wheeler.

This was a shot later in the evening from where the Poulsen campers were. There were a whole slew of other campers and motorbikes. I loved the sky at this point, it was so pretty.

Memorial Day

I thought these pictures of Adam might be appropriate for the Memorial Day post. Travis and I were in Boise for a wedding that I was shooting, and we went to the Osh Kosh outlet. Travis saw this shirt, and couldn't help himself, he turned and just gave me this puppy dog face, and I had to say yes. Adam just looks so darn cute in his "Mud Scout" shirt.

Adam loves watching Papa Blair mow the lawn.

In these last two images, I see Travis so much it's not even funny. The way he's sitting all sorts of relaxed, eating, and his elbow in the air, there's not a doubt that he is his father's son.

Most definitely a Travis pose there.

Adam loves to swing

Granmda Christine and Grandpa Blair have a toddler swing attached to a tree branch in their backyard. Although Adam was very wary and scared of the swing at first, as you can tell by these videos, he has no problem them.

Adam's holding two old General Electric walkie talkies that Daddy used when he was little. When he wanted to be pushed more, he would pat the front of the swing. He loved it.

Cute Little Adam

I remember my Grandma used to have two of these cars in her basement and we loved to play with them. Before we moved from our apartment, Adam loved to play with this car, and finally figured out how to move it with his feet. Although it may not be forward, he still figured it out.

My other Grandma and an aunt visited the day after we moved in, so we had lots of things still out. One of the boxes had the bottles for our water storage, so Adam, Grandma, and our aunt decided to play with them for a while. Adam had a blast, and we really enjoyed having Grandma come to visit. Thanks Grandma, it was great to see you and show you our new home. We love you!

This is what happens....

This is what happens...

....when you let an aunt take Adam to visit Grandma at work. He gets the "chicken pox", oh dear. ;)

...when you take Adam to Toys R Us and he finds a laptop just his size.

....when you leave for a cruise for a week without Adam.

....when you let Adam's aunt do his hair after a bath.

Taylor Swift's Love Story meets Coldplay's Viva La Vida

Jon Schmidt and Steven Sharp Nelson did an amazing job! I found this on a friend's blog, and she found it on another friend's blog. I know it looks long, but it's so worth it. I love this arrangement I couldn't help myself and hope that you enjoy it!

We're Baaack!

To go without Internet for homework or anything just about killed me! I'm so excited to be back in the world of the World Wide Web. Thankfully Travis and I were very determined to get our trench dug so that he could have the necessary "fast" speed connection for work. Patience is a virtue, pictures of the house are coming.

This is a video of Adam shortly before we moved. Enjoy!
