Help!

Alright, I could use some suggestions from Moms or picky eaters who may have encountered this problem. Adam is really only eating fruit and granola bars. Yes, I know that's a good thing, but you haven't smelled his diapers or applied the Desitin. I can't get him to eat cheese very much anymore and could use some help on trying to get him to eat other things. He's a real picky eater. I'm also out of ideas (that's pretty easy to say when I'm preoccupied with classes). So if anyone has suggestions, even those of you who don't have kids, but might have been picky eaters. HELP!

  1. There's a book you could try, How to get your kids to eat, but not too much, by Ellyn Satter. It's got some good tips and stuff in there. By the way, it's good to see you're doing all right. Miss you,

  2. Have you tried any of the Gerber toddler snacks? He may like some of those. Does he like yogurt? Emma absolutely LOVES the yogurt melts. But, they also have some fruit in them, so that may not help alleviate your problem. Also, the puffs are pretty good, too, and in a variety of flavors. Good luck! It's frustrating when they won't eat anything!

  4. Kids and food are a frustrating combination! One thing that helps us is to see what kind of a feeding mood Rachel is in. Sometimes she wants to feed herself and sometimes she wants us to feed her. If she isn't getting her way, she doesn't it...so maybe offer some different foods and try to alternate between him feeding himself and you doing it?
